Background

Project31 has been a long-standing client of myheartcreative’s. They reached out at the beginning of 2023 ready to begin expanding their reach on search engines to help more people learn about their breast cancer community. We began their SEO campaign shortly after, with the primary goals of expanding their community of breast cancer survivors, connecting with their families and friends, and reaching potential donors. 

 

Strategies

Our team worked together to implement several strategies to increase traffic to their website and reach their target audience.

  • We conducted in-depth research into the specific keywords their audience was searching for, paying careful attention to search intent.
  • We completed various optimization techniques both on and off the website.
  • We consistently crafted original content to share their expertise with others, sharing it on and off their website.
  • We reviewed and (when necessary) corrected essential contact information, such as name and phone number, on several top-tier directories.

February 2023

Project31 had minimal traction on search engines prior to their SEO campaign. Before we began implementing strategies to increase their rankings, Project31 had:

  • 0 keywords ranking #1 on Google
  • 3 keywords on page 1 of search results
  • 4 keywords not ranking at all
  • 152 monthly clicks
  • 5,058 impressions
  • 233 organic sessions

February 2024

SEO began in March 2023. Throughout the campaign, Project31 saw an improvement in their search engine rankings and traffic. During the last month of their campaign, they had:

  • 1 keyword ranking #1 on Google
  • 5 keywords on page 1 of search results
  • All keywords ranking on Google
  • 180 monthly clicks
  • 6,490 impressions
  • 328 organic sessions
  • 1,742 SEO sessions

 

Outcomes

Throughout our time collaborating on SEO, Project31’s brand awareness and digital presence have steadily grown. From March 2023 to February 2024, their website had a total of:
