As 2022 finally came to a close, our OKC web design team has been reflecting on the growth of this last year and looking forward with excitement at another year of serving our wonderful clients and community.
Reflections: What Is Excelling Without Change?
Our boutique web design studio’s theme for 2022 was “Excel.” At myheartcreative, not only did we use this theme as inspiration, but it permeated every aspect of our design services, attitudes, studio environment, and our desire to serve our clients. Through this focus, our studio made several additions and changes to improve and perfect our craft.
Around The Globe
Although it has been up and running for two years, our Bengaluru studio experienced some major changes in 2022. We renovated a property to give our Bengaluru studio a permanent home, providing a stand-alone studio with heart and soul for our team and clients. We see the value of working in other countries because it makes us stronger creatively and digitally. Our mix of ideas and approaches helps us deliver quality work as we continue to serve clients all around the globe in the years to come.
Growing Our Boutique Web Design Team
Our creative team also expanded in 2022. In September, Caitlin joined us as our new studio assistant to help our clients, create great content, and keep our Headquarters studio fun and welcoming. Our Bengaluru team also grew in number, helping us excel in our design and development services.
Strengthening OKC Web Design and SEO Services
To provide the best services possible to our current and future clients, we keep a focus on boosting our boutique web design and SEO services. Of course, our commitment to your digital security has stayed the same. Throughout the year, we made approximately 1,000 plugin updates and malware checks. We created over 4,000 website backups to keep each client’s website safe, secure, and running as smoothly as possible.
We also strengthened our websites design-wise, so we can help your brand put its best foot forward. Through thoughtful problem-solving and finding new and effective plugins, our team created new design solutions to ensure each client represents their brand in a unique way. Throughout the year, we created over 20 new websites and even redesigned several websites for our current clients. We also updated our own design!
In 2022, our team worked on Search Engine Optimization for eight websites (including our own). By combining our expertise and hard work with new techniques and strategies, we ended the year with 160 keywords on the first page of results, over 50 of which were in the number one spot. We will continue to expand our OKC web design skills and refine our practices, and we are excited to see how this will help our clients grow.
Expanding Our Social Media Services
One area we have grown in is our social media services, where we help our clients expand their reach by boosting their digital presence. We focus on regularly sharing content that features text, images, and graphics that are fully customized to their visual identities. By consistently sharing quality content on relevant platforms, we help our clients build stronger connections with their audience and increase overall recognition of their brand.
Appreciating Local Artists
At myheartcreative, we love creativity and art in all its mediums – from logos and boutique web designs to drawings and paintings. We continued supporting local art by hosting three artists in 2022: Malcolm Zachariah, Reshon Shirley, and Sara Cowan. Each of these artists beautifully adorned our studio with their one-of-a-kind pieces, capturing the hearts of our team and clients.
Projections: Being Thankful In 2023
As we look forward, we hope to bring hearts of thanksgiving with everything we do. Our theme for 2023 is “Thankful,” and there is so much to be thankful for in this upcoming year.
Celebrating Milestones
In 2023, we are celebrating 5 years with our wonderful Project Coordinator, April! April is a vital member of the myheartcreative team, and we are truly thankful for her dedication to our clients. 2023 also marks the 9-year anniversary of our OKC web design studio, and we are blessed with the opportunity to deliver unmatched service for almost a decade. For now, we will be excitedly preparing for our 10-year anniversary in 2024, so stay tuned!
Coming Together
Whether we are meeting with our clients or problem-solving as a team, we know how powerful collaboration can be. Combining our knowledge and skills allows us to successfully complete projects that can help our clients flourish. Our focus on communication and teamwork will continue to help us create quality custom designs and marketing solutions throughout 2023.
As we grow internationally, we recognize that open communication and frequent collaboration are more important than ever. This year, members of our Headquarters studio will journey to our Bengaluru studio, giving us the opportunity to collaborate, strategize, and bond as a team within the same time zone. It also makes us extra thankful for air travel, video calls, and lots of coffee.
Keeping Accountability
Just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean we will stop excelling in 2023. In keeping with tradition, our boutique web design team has created professional and personal goals to work toward throughout the year. To improve everyone’s chances of success, we have decided to share our goals with one another for greater accountability and motivation.
Of course, our goals are not all that motivates us. The long-lasting relationships we build with our clients enhance our desire to collaborate, grow, and do the best job possible. Our OKC web design team is grateful to serve our amazing clients and help bring your vision to fruition. We continue to be thankful for the ability to do what we do best: create.
