Once again, we have reached the beginning of another year. 2023 was certainly one to remember, and our team reflects with joy on the triumphs and lessons that came with it.
2023 Reflections: Remaining Thankful
Our studio’s word for 2023 was “Thankful,” chosen with the desire to focus on having a heart of thankfulness throughout every circumstance. We remain thankful for our clients and one another, even though we experienced some triumphs and changes throughout 2023.
Creating Around the Globe
Members of our HQ team traveled to Bengaluru, India, in May and June. We worked closely with our India team, ate lots of delicious food, and grew closer together. We are grateful for the ability to serve clients all around the world. Our team continues to develop our professional relationships and presence abroad, seeking to help local and international clients expand their reach with our expertise.

Celebrating with Our Clients
2023 was not without its fair share of celebrations! As a design studio, we celebrated nine years of serving our clients and community. We cannot wait for what the next nine years have to offer, and we are beginning preparations for our 10th anniversary this year, so stay tuned!
Many of our clients hit milestones, and several have seen a 10-fold increase in their business with our SEO and retargeting efforts! Other client accomplishments from 2023 include:
- Mountain View Meat Company, whom we have partnered with for their website and social media, celebrated their 50th anniversary and showcased their products on QVC!
- A Servant’s Hands Massage Therapy opened a day spa in Smithville, Oklahoma, to provide relaxing experiences in a peaceful spa setting.
We have loved celebrating our clients’ triumphs and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in 2024!
Developing Our Photography Skills
In 2023, our team continued to hone and develop new skills, including photography. Our studio assistant, Caitlin, began shadowing Amy during in-studio and on-site client photoshoots. Through in-depth training and observation, she completed her first solo client photoshoot and assisted in bringing many clients to life through visual imagery.

Healing and Growing
This past year was one of healing and growth for many team members, especially Amy. Amy was suffering from severe back pain every day. She underwent surgery at the end of November, leaning on the rest of the myheartcreative team for support as she healed. As of January, she is back in the studio, collaborating and creating with our team and clients as before (but with much less pain!).
2024 Projections: Keeping Our Foundation Firm
Our word for 2024 is “Foundation,” which we believe is fitting given our 10th anniversary coming up. We are choosing to remember the foundation of our work as a design studio. Amidst the trials and successes we may experience this year, we are committed to keeping our values at the forefront of everything we do for our clients and one another.
With that, we are eagerly looking forward to many exciting things in 2024:
Taking on New Roles
Our team has made exciting new shifts to continue delivering unmatched service to our clients. Kristen has taken on her new role as Project Coordinator! She will be walking alongside clients from when they come for a discovery meeting to the completion of their project. Her great organizational skills, kind spirit, and dedication to serving others make her perfect for this new role, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how she flourishes this year.

Making More Videos
People are watching videos more than ever before. Taking our values in stride, we are approaching video content with a craftsman’s attitude in 2024. We are excited to experiment with and incorporate more short- and long-form videos to provide our clients with valuable information (and some entertainment from time to time).
Celebrating Landmark Birthdays
Grab the cake and party hats because 2024 is a big year for our clients!
- Three Way Logistics, whom we have partnered with for their logo, website, and SEO, is celebrating 70 years of serving its customers with tailored logistics solutions.
- Pasadena Neuropsychiatry is celebrating five years of meeting patients’ needs for accessible, evidence-based psychiatric care. We are honored to have worked on their logo, web design, photography, SEM, and more.
- A-1 Freeman Moving Group, a local Oklahoma City-based company, is celebrating their 50th anniversary! We designed a unique logo to commemorate this exciting accomplishment, and we are so thankful for their partnership!

2024 marks a special birthday for the myheartcreative studio as well. We are celebrating 10 years of creating and helping clients grow! We are so thankful for every client we have worked with. We will celebrate in true birthday fashion – with a cake, maybe some candles, and our clients by our side. Be on the lookout for more information later this year!
As always, we are incredibly grateful for our team, clients, and the ability to do what we love every day. As we journey through this new year, we are keeping our foundation firm with every meeting, phone call, and cup of coffee we make. Thank you, as always, for creating with us.
