Exploring Inspirations

Jan 25, 2021 | Art, Creativity, Featured Artist, Oklahoma Artist

At myheartcreative, we believe that everyone should explore their passion to create. Behnaz Sohrabian, our currently featured local artist, has been following her passion to create art since she was a young child. Behnaz’s professional art career began when she was 10, and her art has since been featured in exhibitions and events worldwide.

While growing up in Iran, Behnaz developed a love for art and freedom and a passion for creative expression. Since moving to the United States in 2010 and becoming a naturalized citizen in 2017, Oklahoma’s landscapes and people have been a great inspiration for her art.

Behnaz is inspired by a variety of subjects, which is shown in the wide range of styles she works in. In addition to the painted portraits that she is especially well known for, Behnaz creates drawings, abstracts, figurative works, landscapes, and still lifes. Many of her works feature women, reflecting her commitment to empower and inspire women everywhere.

We are excited to feature a selection of Behnaz’s pieces as we start off the new year. You can come enjoy the artwork in the lobby whenever the building is open, and you can make an appointment to view the works inside of our studio. Any clients who come in for meetings from now through March will be able to view the entire collection.
