Hope, Anticipation, Mystery, Peace

myheartcreative believes in supporting local artists. After all, we are an Oklahoma design company. Just in time for the holidays, we are pleased to introduce the wonderfully talented Theresa Hultberg. The gentle forms of her work are both beautiful and thought-provoking.

Artist Theresa Hultberg leans against the conference room wall and puts her hand on her hip. She is standing close to a large abstract painting.

Experience

Theresa has a BFA in Art from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 and mainly creates paintings, drawings, and prints. She has also published an illustrated work and is collaborating on a book. Although she mostly shows in Oklahoma, Theresa’s prints have an international reach, showing in Mexico, South America, and New Zealand.

Artistic expression has been important to Theresa for most of her life. As she explains, “I wanted to be an artist because it’s a way that I can bring beauty and expression into the world and making art is what I love to do. I realized it in my first art class in high school. I’d get lost in paintings and drawings while I was working on them and couldn’t stop thinking about them when I wasn’t.”

Current Work

Nature, wind, and the unknown inspire much of Ms. Hultberg’s work, creating an ethereal look and feel, drawing in the viewer on a deeper level. She hopes to show how “nature’s elements are uncontrolled and changeable,” which is the perfect atmosphere for the approaching winter season. The pieces currently showing in our studio are not simple abstracts; the lines and forms “create atmospheric compositions that are realistic and fantastical.”

Having Theresa’s art looks fantastic in our Oklahoma web design studio. We are honored that she chose to partner with us, and we definitely feel the sense of “hope, anticipation, mystery, and peace” she wished to express in this collection. If you would like to see more of Ms. Hultberg’s work, check out her Instagram or website. Of course, anyone who stops by will have the opportunity for an in-person look. Who knows, your perfect Christmas present might be waiting here.
