At myheartcreative we believe we were created to create and we built our business to alter spaces, much like our featured artist. Oklahoma native Katelynn Noel Knick’s use of playful color combinations yield a bright and energetic atmosphere that inspire creativity and exude imagination. We are thrilled to have her work on exhibition here in our studio. Her skillful creations are inspiring us to build, design, and beautify our projects for our clients.
Sculptor
Katelynn received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. Since then she has been traveling, exploring and refining her work to reflect the beauty she has experienced firsthand. Her experiences are reflected in the unique strokes on her canvas, shapes, and figures used in her sculpting and the vibrant colors displayed on each piece.
Arts Advocate
Katelynn has been immersed in custom spaces and creation her whole life. Her role models designed and built spaces that not only served the function of her family and shared space, but also for aesthetics. She lived in a home that allowed for imagination and generated authentic production.
Lover of the Abstract
Katelynn’s playful use of color and layered movement are fundamental to her style. Her work brings energy and delightful colors that bring canvas to life. Much of what we see in her art, we try to emulate for our clients. We pursue projects that bring our clients’ work and vision to life. Unique, fresh, bright and bold are a few of the words we would use to describe her work and why we are so excited to host her in our studio through January.

“I use playful color combinations and the movement of layering various marks and shapes to create an imagined space that is subtle, yet confrontational and inviting. Ambiguous clusters of marks and colors, thin lines that draw lingering connections, and lumpy overlapping forms all collectively create associations, sensations, and experiences that vary, offering a unique, connection to be formed.”
